Chef, Bufad Pizza
Chef grew up outside Philadelphia and studied at the New England Culinary Institute. After her graduation, Lauren has worked for some of the biggest names in New York. She has worked for Jean George Vongerichten and specialized in pastry at WD-50. But her passion for Italian food came from opening Bella Vitae with Rolando Beramendi. After studying Italian cuisine hands on in Southern Italy, Lauren came back to Philadelphia to work at Zahav, and most notably Prohibition Taproom. Not only is she the Chef of Bufad, she is in charge of dessert production for all 13th Street Kitchens.
