Class Recap: Destination Beach Vacation with Laura Frangiosa & Maureen Stoebenau of The Avenue Delicatessen

The summer weather has finally arrived and here at COOK we celebrated with a destination beach getaway with our good friends Laura Frangiosa and Maureen Stoebenau of The Avenue Delicatessen. Take a look at what they served up!

To start, we enjoyed some delicious tuna ceviche served with plantain chips.

DV2Next up: Tamarind Pork Skewers with a green papaya salad on the side.

DV3DV1Our third course was jerk chicken wings with grilled pineapple and black bean salsa.

DV4Things really got interesting when Laura showed us how to make soft shell crab.

DV6DV7DV8The crispy soft shell crab was served over coconut rice, veggies, and red curry sauce.

DV9A vacation themed dinner wouldn’t be complete without a beach-y desert. This delicious key-lime pie was a sweet ending to a great dinner!
