Carmen started his career at Michael’s Pizza in Ambler, Pennsylvania at the age of 14 as a dishwasher. He grew to love cooking which has carried him till today. Through his travels from Atlanta to Tallahassee back to Philadelphia the drive of cooking for the people has never left. He has honed his skills while working for such great chefs as Georges Perrier, Tony Clark, Francesco Martorella, CMC Jack Shoop & others. After owning his own restaurants in Atlanta and Philadelphia he now is the Executive Sous Chef at the Moshulu with renowned Philadelphia chef Anthony Bonett. Carmen lives in Roxborough with his fiancé, son Carmen A. Cappello III and daughter Katelyn Elise.
