Chef-Owner, Supper and The Global Dish Caterers

Mitch Prensky, Chef and Proprietor, and his wife and partner, Jennifer London Prensky, are one of Philadelphia’s most respected “culinary couples.” Together, they own a successful event planning company, The Globaldish Caterers, and one of the city’s most well-regarded restaurants, Supper.

Mitch and Jennifer opened Supper in 2007, specializing in fresh, modern twists on American cuisine known as “urban farmhouse.”

Since its opening, Supper has won prestigious awards such as, The Philadelphia Inquirer: “Three Bell: Excellent” review; Philadelphia Magazine’s “Best of Philly” in 2009& 2010 and a top 25 ranking among the magazine’s “50 Best Restaurants” three years running; The New York Times has described Supper as the restaurant “that perfectly captures the current spirit of fine dining in Philadelphia.”

While in the early stages of planning their Center City restaurant, they were frequently approached by friends and acquaintances to cater private dinner parties, which in time became the Globaldish Caterers. Together, they found that designing custom menus and creating one-of-a-kind experiences for their guests was an interesting and challenging niche of the fine dining industry that they hadn’t yet explored. The company became an instant success and garnered numerous awards for serving the highest quality of food with inimitable hospitality and flawless ambiance.

Mitch Prensky is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute and alumnus of numerous prestigious Manhattan restaurant kitchens such as L’Ecole, Lutece, Le Chantilly and Mesa Grill. Chef Prensky is a member of the PA Food Trust and The Chef’s Collaborative for Sustainable Agriculture.
