Class Recap: Pizza and Beer with Dock Street Brewery

Our friends at Dock Street Brewery stopped by last week and showed us what they do best: beer and pizza. Bonus: they even brought some extra dough for our guests to make their own pies! Take a look at what we were COOKing up.

Sasha Certo-Ware of Dock Street prepared a few demo pizzas for guests to observe (and eat!) before giving it a go themselves. The most crucial part of the pizza-making process: preparing your dough. But for those who are looking for a delicious shortcut… you can purchase pizza dough from Dock Street and create your own pizza at home!

DS4Guests made sure to flour their prepping surface and their dough before rounding out their pizza crust.

DS5Once the dough was ready, everyone was able to choose from a variety of cheese, charcuterie, and veggie toppings to customize their own pizza.

DS3They added the toppings to their pizza which was prepared on a pizza peel and, with some assistance, placed them in the oven which was set to 550 degrees. Once they were done, everyone got to enjoy their own!
