Keep Calm + Carry On

With another rainy day in the forecast, lean into it like a Brit! Have your own foggy day in Londontown with a cozy cuppa, hard cider, shortbread, proper cheddar and more. Shop in-store daily from 11AM to 8PM or reserve online for easy pick up.

British Bevs

This is the time of year to pour some cider! We’re stocked with hard ciders from around the globe, in both bottles and canned four-packs. One of our current faves is local cidery Ploughman’s Gold Rush, an aromatic, citrusy cidera aged beautifully in oak barrels. Having been aged for more than a year in oak, it’s a true cooperation between apples and time!

If you don’t think of Great Britain when you think of sparkling wine, you haven’t had Digby Fine English Brut. This has quickly become one of the most-lauded, benchmark sparkling wines from England since launching in the summer of 2016. It’s toasty, spicy, and shows complex aromas of Rainier cherries and lemon verbena. The palate offers a hint of honeyed almond and not-quite-baked apple pie flavor. Cheers!

We can’t talk British beverages without mentioning tea. George Cannon organic loose leaf tea varieties include English Breakfast Tea and King of Sicily Earl Grey. Pick up some TruBee honey and a drizzler, along with some tea glasses (which double as a toddy glass!), and you’ll have everything you need for a proper cuppa.

Cozy Snacks

There’s cheddar, and then there’s Plymouth cheddar. Though it comes from Vermont, Plymouth Original Aged Vermont Cheddar is made from a centuries-old recipe from early American settlers. The result is a rich, full-bodied cheese, rounded with the perfect balance of cream and tang. While perfect on its own, we love it with Nicolas Vahé spreads, particularly fig spread, whole grain mustard and tomato-apple-chili chutney.

On the sweet side, two cookie options from Bunches & BunchesShorties, a buttery, rich shortbread that you’ll love with tea or a toddy; and (they’re back!) SNAPS, a perfectly spicy, crisp ginger snap that was a best-seller during the holidays last year.

Plus…

Add a dash of British whimsy to your home with Lord Philip the Fox cocktail napkins and matches, red telephone booth matches and, of course, Union Jack matches. It’s the little things, right?
