Inspired by the age of apothecaries and the homemade remedies often employed by Wild West pioneers, The Pathfinder is fermented from hemp and carefully refined by copper pot distillation. The base liquid is then infused with botanicals, including wormwood, angelica root, ginger, sage, juniper, saffron, orange peel and Douglas fir. The result is a complex amaro-like beverage with aromas of sarsaparilla and sage, complemented by bright floral notes.

A’la amaro, sip it neat or on the rocks. If you’re feeling like a cocktail, here are some easy preparations!

THE PATHFINDER SPRITZ
In a collins glass, combine 2 oz The Pathfinder and 1/2 oz lemon juice over ice, top with club soda and garnish with a lemon peel.

GOLDEN HOUR
In a highball glass, combine 2 oz The Pathfinder and 1/2 oz lemon juice over ice, top with dry ginger beer and garnish with a lemon wedge.

FINDER’S OLD FASHIONED
In a rocks glass, pour combine 1 tsp sugar and 4 dashes aromatic bitters. Stir or muddle until dissolved. Place a large ice cube in glass and pour in 2 oz The Pathfinder. Stir gently and garnish with an orange peel.
