This Friday, April 15, 2022, marks the first evening of Passover. Wine plays an integral role in the Seder meal, as participants drink the Four Cups of Passover – the Cup of Sanctification, the Cup of Deliverance, the Cup of Redemption and the Cup of Praise. Beyond the Seder itself, observers typically consume ‘Kosher for Passover’ wines throughout the holiday. If you’re in the market for Kosher for Passover wines, CORK has you covered! Check out our selections below and shop in-store daily from 11AM to 8PM. If you prefer, reserve online for easy pick up.
PAVOLINO PROSECCO
Made in Veneto, Italy, this is a well-balanced sparkler with apple, pear, citrus and floral aromas. It’s velvety and full-flavored on the palate with white-fleshed fruit and a fresh, persistent finish. Enjoy it as an aperitif or with pasta and fresh salads.
CHÂTEAU ROUBINE LA VIE EN ROSE
A Provence rosé made from Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Rolle and Tibouren. Lovely pink salmon in color, the nose is floral and grassy while the palate is fresh with crushed strawberry and a hint of fennel. Perfect with fish!
GALIL MOUNTAIN WINERY SAUVIGNON BLANC AND CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Bright yellowish in color, the famed Israeli winery’s Sauvignon Blanc displays prominent notes of passion fruit, lychee, fig and feijoa, with a background of citrus and cut grass. Galil’s Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied, silky tannin wine with concentrated berry and plum notes layered with a hint of herbs. Pairs well with braised and grilled meats.
CHÂTEAU TRIJET BORDEAUX
An organic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with notes of blackberries and black cherries, along with tobacco leaves, cedar and cracked pepper. Medium-bodied with hints of earth lingering on the finish. Excellent choice for simmered and roasted meat dishes.
