You might be finding yourself longing to spend some quality time with your kids now that they’re back in school. Why not make the most of your time together by playing some fun, mind-expanding games? More specifically, why not enjoy a few rounds of the Fresh Artists Memory Game?

Fresh Artists is a Philadelphia-based non-profit founded in 2008 which is geared towards providing children with a creative outlet and highlighting their artwork. Children are encouraged to create original artworks, which are then digitally reproduced for sale – at art installations for businesses, to be sold at Pablo’s Clothesline art sale, to be incorporated into their memory games, and more! All proceeds directly benefit art programs in under-funded public schools, inspiring kids to express their creativity and talent. It’s what Fresh Artists refers to as “lateral philanthropy.” In other words, artwork is created by the students for the students.

While there are several different sets to choose from, here at COOK, we keep our shelves appropriately stocked with the Fresh Food Edition which comes with a variety of stunning mosaic artwork that are as fun to look at as they are to play with!
